If you get to Nis and don't have a place to stay, try the Ambassador hotel, right in the heart of the city. You won't believe it, but it's actually one of the cheapest. If you wanna go out, all you have to do is go downstairs, since the bar and the restaurant seem to attract most of the people in the city.
