If you are on a low budget and wanna spend a few nights in Belgrade I recommend the Hotel Royal. It's right in the heart of the city and it offers some of the best prices in Belgrade (around $40). Don't expect towels to be changed every week, but the staff is very friendly, and the people you meet at the bar downstairs are quite special. If you're a student, you can also go for the Youth Hostel Organisation as well, and they'll get a discount for you at the local hotels.
